help me buy 08 M3 convertible

Hello everyone. New to the Board but not to BMW's. Have been through 540, M5 and 745 in the past 10 years, all great cars. Went over to Porsche w/ a 911 C2 Cab which I have had for the past 3 years. I have been dissappointed with the road noise and day to day driveability compared with the bmw's I have owned. Anyway, thinking of getting and M3 and have read about some great deals on the 08's. I drove an 08 locally which I loved but they sold it that same day. Found another 08 convertible fairly close: black/silver prem pkg, tech, cold weather, 19" wheels, Ipod, PDC, HD radio/satellite, Enhanced prem sound. MSRP is 79k. I have read about the coupes going for low 50's, what should I shoot for with the above car? 60-62K? Any and all insight appreciated

Update: still looking

Talked to a number of dealers in the midwest. None seem to want to budge from the 67-69k mark for a loaded 08 vert. From what I can tell the invoice on these cars was 68 or so. Subtract from that the 7500 rebate from BMW, I should be able to get one for 61K, no? Please correct me if my logic is wrong.
Hoping to get my M on........

$20,000 off MSRP should be your goal and maybe more since you are talking about the convertible, which is the most abundant 2008 model on dealership lots. 2008 sedans and coupes have sold for $20,000 off, so no telling what the dealers with the convertibles would do at this point.

Take a look at ebay....

there are several convertibles with single digit miles with reasonable prices and good equipment. I would buy one with lots of gear--very tough to resell expensive cars of any description without options...
