I just got confirmed today for my e90 order to replace my '08 e90. Does anyone know if any '12 changes will be applied to the new build e90s even though they will be branded '11s?

And the answer is? Congrats, you must have gotten one of the last allocations. I keep toying with the idea of replacing my 08... Did you change much from your 08?

November PC delivery. Got the Comp. Package and DCT this time. I had SMG on my e60 M5, wasn't happy with it and got the 6mt on the '08 M3. Then I drove one with DCT. BIG difference! Was going to get the F10 M5, but that is one big sucker! Too big for the track (same experience with the e60). IMO, the M3 is the most balanced package out there right now.

Congrats! My e90 just entered production.
BTW, did your price show up correctly? With the next Premium 3 and Convenience 2 packaging, the automated system is double charging me for nav. My dealer claims this will all get corrected before the car arrives |

Are you getting overcharged for nav also? My vehicle inquiry report charges me for both packages (plus cold and competition), but also charges me $3k for nav separately Last edited by Foodle; 08-31-2011 at 07:11 PM.. |

My dealer told me two weeks ago that it was no longer possible to order a new E90. What gives? Apparantly there actually still allocations remaining? Wonder how i could get one...

As of a week ago, there were 15 e90 M3 allocations left in the US listed as Priority 3, 4, or 5 (i.e. the cars are not spoken for yet) in status 111 (i.e. not scheduled for production, can still make changes to order). My dealer grabbed one of those for me from California. To get an allocation from another dealer, the dealership general manager has to call the other dealership and ask/beg/bribe them. The other dealership doesn't have to give it up (unless it's listed as Priority 5, which they never are). So it all depends on how motivated your dealer is to work for you. Not sure what the status now is, but you'd better hurry ...

Also I'm getting mine through ED, but I don't know if it is still possible to get one that way or not.

Although I would guess the remaining allocations ate getting finalized as the final orders have to get placed soon. So the dealers with allocations are ordering cars they think they will be able to sell easily. |

I got the same runaround from local dealers. After some diligence, I secured an allocation for an October build. Hunt around and you may be able to find something; it's getting harder, though.

It only took him 5 minutes to pull up all remaining allocations in the US. So it's not like figuring out if there are any left is a huge burden. |
