That would be great if people not interested in the car or with nothing relevant to say would stop posting. Thanks.

Miles and price update: About 9,700 on it now and will take $58k for it. Still in perfect condition.

Goregous E90... would love to pick it up. Your asking price is more than the car is worth, but its your car and you can sell it for whatever you want.

Unfortunately the wholesale market is the determining factor in what your car is actually worth. Now obviously someone is going to pay more than that but the market does not lie. And right now your car wholesale is worth 46k, I'm sure it hurts to hear that but cars are a depreciating asset.

If you got somewhere in between 46 and 50, I'd take it or just keep the car if you are not willing to take such a loss.

Good luck with the sale!

You're nuts! I just sold mine for 55k with more miles and a door was replaced. The guy even bought it site unseen! He can ask what he wants, but there is no way it's worth less than 55k!

Thanks Man. Haha, yeah, $50k for a brand new condition, fully loaded E90 with 2.5 years of warranty left. Fucking nuts.

Average auction odometer = 33k miles. Yep, seems comparable to 10k miles.

Actually, per screen shot, average was 22K and above average was 11K miles 33K is irrelevant - not used anywhere. Yours is clearly closer to 11K/above average category with auction being closer to 56K.

Clearly you guys are mis-interpreting the high end numbers. You need to look at the overall sales. I'd write you a check from my own bank account for $1000 if you got $56k at auction. Would never happen! You guys are also forgetting manheim gets their $$$ as well.

No one is saying go sell your car for a wholesale price, we get that. Your just in denial because you cant believe how much your car has depreciated.

Cars are depreciating assets, period.

Ok, great story. Auction cars are not as nice as mine.

I am in denial. I need to go to counseling for my "car value denial." Thanks for bringing this to my attention. The first step in recovery is admitting I have a problem and you helped me realize that.

Actually I dont work for a dealer. I'm looking to buy another M3 and paying cash. Just not gonna pay 10k over because someone THINKS their car is worth a certain number.

If someone expects to buy their car they gotta sell it for a realistic price. M3 prices are in the shitter and people expect top dollar for a used car.

Then go fish you idiot! Seriously... Who comes into a private party sales ad and does this? We don't care what you can find at some auction. We don't care what you think market is. Put your money where that big mouth of yours is and go buy one EXACTLY like this. Then do us all a favor and go drive it into a wall!

I've been in the car business for over 16 years and you are being reasonable in asking $58k. I go to the auctions weekly and buy cars and just saw a SG '08 e92 with 46k 6sp run thru. Clean car but needed tires. Sold for 36k at the block. Oh, it also was a branded title because it was a lemon law buy back. Used cars are bringing brain damage still. Keep the course, you will sell it.

I have followed this thread for quite some time. The car is very clean, but not exactly what I am looking for...not a fan of the gray/silver interior. Price wise, its on the top end of the spectrum, but, hey you are the owner and can value it anyway you want. I almost pulled the trigger on a loaded 2011 space gray DCT with fox red interior w/sunroof delete. Car had 18K miles and super clean. Dealer had it listed for $52,xxx. If it had a sunroof, I wouldn't have hesitated. Dealer probably would have asked $54K and i would have paid it. You have a special car, one of the last TRUE M CARS. GLWS.
