This massive high pressure air that causes the heatwave is like Hell on wheel. moving across to different sections of US, 2 weeks ago it was over California and condition was miserable

Actually it started out in the mid plain, around North Dakota, Iowa..etc Can you imagine ND hitting hit of 105+. They sure get the extreme of everything, super hot and super cold during the winter

Seems like you notherners are having a tough time adjusting to global warming eh? You garden is not sh*tting anything, it is probably dead by now...
On a more serious note, everyone should stay in the shade as much as you can to protect yourself from heat stroke. We have had too many ppl dead due to this heat wave already. keep cool and chill.

if that is the case, then why is it that houston is the fatest city in the last couple of years. I would think the natural sauna would help houstonians stay fit?

Not sure about this, but I heard that Houston was determined the fatest city by some bs calculation using the number of restaurants divided by work-out facilities. Its not our fault that we all have our own private gyms and enjoy fine dinning . But thats just according to all the fat people I've talked to so.....

I was watching Tonight Show last night and Jay Leno said "it's so hot over in the East that Lance Bass came out and then went back in". LOL He also said "In fact, Ashlee Simpson wanted her old nose back cus it provided more shade". Omg how do they come up with these things???

I'm on a 7 semi-truck tour right now in the North-east, working 16 hours day's outside in amphitheaters.
It's brutal.
1-2 bottles of water per hour. One thing I've found is that if you put your hands in ice-water in a cooler, it cools your whole body down.
