Curb rashed OEM 19s: What is a reasonable asking price??

Guys,
I'm trying to get an idea of how much I could reasonably sell my OEM 19s for. 1 of the wheels is mint and 3 have curb rash. I don't have pics right now, but I'd say each of the 3 wheels has 2-3" of curb rash. I did not do this...I actually bought the car with the rash figuring I would buy aftermarket wheels and keep the OEMs for spares in case I had a flat.
Anyway, just trying to get an idea of what I could sell them for if I decide to sell. I will post pics when I get a chance to give you an idea. I figured these would be good for someone to buy if they were putting their car back to stock to sell or turn in on a lease. Thanks in advance.

Well, it all depends how much I can get for them...if I can't get that much, then I'll just keep them. However, if the price is right or worth it, I'll sell them.

Well, I have a buddy who would probably let me borrow his wheels until I get a new set. However, I'm really not sure what to ask since 3 of them are curbed. I will get pics up this weekend to get a better idea of the rash. I'm not with the car right now so that's why I don't have them up yet. However, I just wanted to get this thread up and running to give me an idea if it's worth going through all the trouble.

Now, if the price is right and somebody wanted them, I could probably get them shipped within a few days of finalizing the deal to answer your question.

Look, here is the solution

To fix that curb rash and make it like a new wheel, you have to spend $150 per wheel.

Mint (like new) condition 19s go around $1200 here. If you the deduct the cost of repair from that value, $600-$700 would be a fair/reasonable price for your set.

Thanks Koxal. That helps out a lot. I've heard $75 to fix a wheel, but if you're saying $150, would it be reasonable to just split the difference at say it costs an average of $110 to fix a wheel?

by the way, i have a neighbor down the street who actually asked me awhile back if i would sell these to him. however, he owns a 335. neither of us know if these wheels would fit. does anyone happen to know? just curious.

As someone else mentioned, $1200 seems to be the going rate for the wheels in excellent condition. It will not cost $150/wheel to fix curb rash, more than likely no more than $100/wheel unless its really bad. For $150 you could get them completely refinished/powdercoated...

Anyway, I think fair market value is around $800 as is...

the wheels will fit on a 335 with no issues. so u can sell it to your neighbor. he can get it powedercoated or refinished which should cost bout $400 to do the job on all 4 wheels. this way he will get a brand new finish.

Sweet. Thanks. Like I said, it was a feeler. I don't have replacement wheels at this point. Just wanted to see if it was worth posting this.
