Noisy Brakes after track day

Hi All

I've just done a couple of days at the ring and on the drive back I noticed that my brakes are quite loud. Not a squeaking noise but a droning resonating noise.

This happened after my last track day as well but it faded.

The pads were replaced last week (although I am now told that I only have 9000 miles left on the fronts).

I assume that the pads or discs are just worn a bit roughly after the heavy use at the track and that it will get better gradually again.

Is this normal? Do other people get this?

I used to get a similar noise on my Z4 M which had drilled discs as well so I reckon it's something to do with them.

Thanks

You could've warped the rotors.
