So, how do you cut away the parts you don't need? How does this work?

it's quite simple actually. you wrap it up to a part where you feel the cut won't show then cut away the extra. for example if you are wrapping the rear bumper or quarter panel then when you get to the line between the two then you cut a little extra and then tuck it in between and re cut the extra.

Wow really good job! That looks so good. In the pics it makes it look really simple but I'm sure there's more to it than laying a piece of vinyl over each panel and cutting the excess.

I take my hat off to you Buddy. Takes some bottle to do that, even more to do your own car.

yea it's just a tad more complicated than that. If you are trying to be money smart then cutting the extra to be used in other places is wise. like doing the quarter panel and cutting out the extra to use on the doors.

Pretty sik!

This might be a fun winter project. Which panel would you say was the hardest to wrap?

thanks! this is definitely a fun winter project until it snows and you can't find your car because it's the same color of the snow

The hardest part I would say is a toss up between the quarter panels and the front bumper. the quarter panel is long and by yourself can get hard to cut hold and wrap at the same time while still keeping it intact to wrap the doors. The front bumper has so much curves it is crazy. the two ducts on the side and the middle one is a little tricky to do and I did mess up there but patched it up real nice so it doesn't show. You have to stretch the vinyl to its limits to get it to fit perfect and a little over heating and it starts to rip.

happy modding
