I rode in one tonight.

Yes - it was just basically a ride around the block.
Yes - it was piloted by a German guy who spoke little english.
Yes - it was orange.
Yes - those rear tires are basically as wide as a Prius.
Yes - it was the most amazing automotive experience I've ever had.

I took a vid (at least till the battery died). I'll try and get that uploaded soon.

One of the tuning shops down here has the Euro meet at their place each month - the shop happens to be the final assembly point for all US destined Gumperts. So to celebrate their 2 year anniversary they raffled off a ride to 5 people... I was 1 of the 5 who's number was drawn.

One thing we were all amazed at... at idle, this thing is downright quiet.
Obviously under throttle it's a completely different story!

BTW if anyone is on long island and wants to see one. the last time i was at champion motor/bentley long island/lamborghini long island. which was abut a week ago. they had one in this same orange color.

Awesome those cars are wicked. I saw a black one outside of Symbolic motors in San diego. I liked the way it looked actually. Crazy looks to go along with crazy speed.
