Blown Speaker???

I PUSH my Enhanced Premium Sound System speakers. Recently I have noticed this annoying (mild) rattling coming from the back-seat roof speaker with even moderately load bass. Who has this in their new M3? Is this speaker blown or is it artifact vibration?

Never noticed any rattling in mine. What do you mean by roof speaker? The rear seat speakers consist of:

Rear side mid - 2
Rear side tweeter - 2
Rear shelf, 2 coax - 4

I don't have a roof speaker either.

I think you just solved my problem. The object that's vibrating seems to be in the back middle roof (just above the seats), I just assumed it was a speaker but from what you are telling me it's not. I'll be honest, i have never actually been in the back to see what treasures dwell. Saving the back seat for some special GoldDigger that i find worthy of taking back there!

Yeah, that thing with grilles houses the alarm motion detector, if you get that accessory. You must be really cranking it to get that to vibrate!

I didn't pay the extra money to F around! The Stereo system is so sick. I am now almost completely deaf.

Of course we are not NORMAL. Normal people buy 335i zz and think they're "the man!" Have you had a chance to take the car out to the Hamptons or Neptunes. People love it!
