Some info on the Fuchs DCT. I have been using Fuchs Titan Supersynth 10/60 motor oil for over a year now in my car and it is impressive. Also found that in a few S65's with oil use, the Titan stopped that. Most likely the higher ash content.

Motul Multi DCTF can be had for $18/L shipped to your door. Less if you buy a case. The specs are still better than the Fuchs stuff, but the Fuchs is definitely better than the OEM Pentosin in almost every area.

Since I have a spare DCT tranny I Would consider giving it a try only if they guarantee me it will work if not I would expect a complete refund and reimbursement on tranny if the clutches cause any damage ....

On a related note the first Porsche Turbo PDK how now been built by BBi and the trans has been welded back together after installation of the stronger clutches and is going into their test car. BBi still keeping it hush as to where the clutches came from. Could it be Dodson??

They were ready for sale since this Wednesday
Their are in the packaging process And the price is amazing I can say the least I called them today mr colins specifically to newzeland Price is 2300$ USD or 2600 NZD only for the 14 piece EXEDY clutches and u need to tell the TCU they are upgraded clutches Their website is still saying it's coming soon And mr Colin's was not happy I buy the clutches directly from them he told me he needs to trust the shop that will install it for me about testing I think sticky will be the first one to test They told me they upgraded the DCT for the 135 335 M3 and the M5 too |

P.S.mentioning "sticky" on this forum means you lose all credibility, as he is a nobody in the M3 world, never done anything, never will |

I emailed sales@dodson and the guy who answered me most of the times was Colin
Then he was replying a little bit slow for my needs so I called him and talked and then his female secretary emailed me back with other details I don't know who else to mention other than sticky Coz as I remember dodson indirectly made a post on *********** and I saw sticky asking them to fix his car and when I called Colin's he told me they have been contacting the guy with the 800 hp M3 who owns a big forum so I guess that's means sticky No I don't have a reciept and they never told me the price on email he only said it to me on the phone , he stayed away from writing any prices on the mail This is the link he directed me too http://dodsonmotorsport.com/?p=1186 I know it still says no price yet I would love to buy the clutches but then how will I install them The price is really good for my expectations I was thinking more in the 4000 dollars territory I am pretty glad with 2300 , I am going to order it from then in 2 weeks But then he asked me to contact the shop that will install it for me first before selling me such a product bec they said it will be a really precise job and not anyone can do it That's was his major concern The reason I knew about them is from this thread I was always following the hopes of gintani or I thought of not believing everyone and going with SSP At least this is cheaper than SSP option even if I do buy the gintani oil pan and a mishimoto Trans cooler |

So, after more conversations, Dodosn does have the lower Tq rating set ready to go, you are correct in that. the higher rating set is not ready yet.
as for another forum, there isnt one, otherwise we would be talking about these things there, and his car only makes 800hp in unicorn land, where his car lives inevitably, because it is in fact a unicorn BUT, back on point, Dodson DOES have clutches ready to go for people that have cars that actually run |

I have a car running on the SSP clutches for close to two years now. The car put down over 500wtq on the dyno, no issues at all. The reason the clutch needs to be broken in on D6 is because in any other setting, there is too much slip introduced into the clutch assembly. The friction material is an aggressive one, and heat is the enemy in any transmission and clutch assembly. Its easy to burn up any clutch, manual included, when too much slip is present. Would you break in a manual clutch with your foot half way pressed into the clutch pedal? Didn't think so. I have multiple cars running around with the SSP clutches with zero issues. They will be introducing a core exchange program shortly to take out the guess work when installing these clutches.
