) my daughter for Thanksgiving on the Accord. It also cruises effortlessly at the ton, and gives me much better mileage (on regular) and range, but driving the M3 is something special

I want to put about 20K miles by the time warranty runs out, to assure most of the stuff that will go wrong actually goes wrong. Hey, there's a guy on another board who just turned 50K miles, and ZERO problems. That's encouraging, to say the least

My main concern is the idle valve, which supposedly fails when cold. On that trip, I'll have to start my car at about 20º, so I'll find out how well it copes with the cold. So far it has never seen below 50º or so.

I have 15,000 miles with a June 08 build. I drive it only on the weekends. Once I get in, I drive for at least 100 miles. I don't leave it in one spot for too long.
