I doubt it is the same engine. You can easy tell where the pully and belt located differently It is too different engine. Indeed, the setup look very simliar to each other to normal people. They do used similar technology.

That is why it has been testing on the 'Ring to see how far off the track GM can get it right? Unlike the Mustang with it's handling mess of a solid rear axle, the Camaro will have a IRS.
