My buddy at work has a 2006 Z06 and it was a minor motivating factor for me purchasing the M. Though I still can't take him, keeping up with him in my 328i was just an excercise in futility.

Correct , once we drop our cars in 5th and 6th it's a different ball game and walk away rapidly but what sucks is who runs at those speeds ( beside us fools ) .

From 2nd to 4th we nose out so it's pretty close but once we hit 5th we walk the Z ..

Agreed, people seem to forget that they trap 126+ and run high 7's, low 8's 60-130 if driven properly. Very impressive results.

Remember a LIGHTLY modded (Intake / Tune) C6 Z06, can run even with a 458 Italia.

I figured it out. All the flying to Mexico earns you frequent flyer mile bonuses so you're able to spoil yourself and spend it on the car.
