Cool story bro.

Don't know why the M3 got such a jump in the begining because it was pretty much even in the mid to high end? Interesting.

With more money an m3 will eventually own the 335 but a 335 with some upgraded turbos and a jb4 = win

People always talk about how small upgrades make 335s very fast, and it is true, and I know that M3 owners hate hearing that. Of course you can upgrade cars to be faster than other ones, but I think this video just goes to show that with somewhat of an apples to apples upgrade, the M3 is the faster car.

Because it's supercharged? and they have alot of torque in the beginning.

Haha calm down guys I was just joking. The 335 is a hell of a car but the m3 is still better.

You are correct, all else equal, a super charged car will develop torque more quickly. Between the bigger engine, super charger and gearing advantage, the m3 was probably putting down more torque to the wheels sooner. Peak torque OS a different story.

Who else wants to see Vishnu Single turbo vs. ESS S/C M3..

I think I know who'd win.

EDIT: I spoke too soon.. video is up! Even though the M3 jumped it. Single TURBO FTW. It reeled it back in so quickly.
I love my M3, but this is what it's about... :P

Again people that weren't there are speculating...
335(me) had the dusty lane(inner lane), and caught wheel spin off the start(watch closely after the cone, you will see a whole lot of dust behind the car).
This was our second race. The race before this 335 won by 4-5 cars, again, because M3 was in the dusty lane, and caught wheel spin.
In a fair race with a good start it would be a nail biter, but i have a feeling M3 would still edge it out by a nose or two.

As far as modding goes, both cars spent about the same amount of money under the hood.
