Anyone with only akra slip on in socal? (La area)

Was wondering if anyone had an akra slip on only setup and would be willing to let me hear/ride it.

Thinking of getting one. Ive seen a couple for sale threads but pretty old and awaiting response. Hoping the guy from 818 is still selling his for $2300.

Anyone willing to meet?

Or even better, anyone want to sell me their e90 akra slip on?

There's no shortage of Akra slip-on owners on this board, I for one, love mine with ti tips.

That's because it's an inevitable upgrade for most people who get the slip-on. Might as well get a used evo system from the start

Get the slip and gt4 xpipe. You won't regret it.

Yep. My logic is this. Buy slip on first. Complete evo later. Never could justify the price tag of a full system BUT one at a time seems somewhat reasonable

Hence the reason i want to hear what only a slip on sounds like. Prob not that great??

One thing i did learn though, oem mod with test pipes sounds proper. Then i took the testpipes off, now i cant hear shit

Aren't the test pipes straight through to begin with? What did you replace them with to make it louder?

With test pipes it sounded AMGish. I swapped out test pipes for a stock xpipe - now its just on mute lol.

i have the slip-on. let me know if you'd like to meet.

its only slight louder than the exhaust. the difference isn't really in the volume, but instead the sound / note. and of course, there are cosmetic / weight benefits . . .

but yeah, someday i'll most likely convert to full evo to get the added performance gain.

Next canyon drive? Lets do an m3 line this time. Ill run sweeper and get all of you on camera. Should be fun!
