Shift light selection turns "off" every time I restart the car.

I didn't worry about the shift lights until recenly. The car was new, and I wasn't pushing it anywhere near redline.

So, just to see what they're like (yawn, BTW), I turned them on in the dashboard control menu.

But every time I switch the car off, they go back to "off."

No help in the manual that I can find. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

I think it's in the supplement. You have to save it in I drive M key settings & the stalk.
