Ha! That thread only proves you have nothing better to do on a Sunday then read through all my posts to try and prove me wrong. Nothing against you either, but it didn't work.

I would be happy her perspective is that your M3 is slow.
That means she would not be interested in driving it much.
My wife doesn't like to drive my M3 or 335 because I am so anal about the cars however her 13 Outback and Ford 500 she has no issues driving.
Mine drives off our driveway with no slowing down and wham goes the suspension no matter how many times I tell her to slow it down.
We all have our life partner issues...

I said yes, is everything ok with my bimmer. She's says yeah, thank God i want my Jeep back. Your car is slow! My jaw hit the floor lol. I didn't even get into it with her. Obviously she doesnt know the difference between quick and fast. She probably never took it past 4000rpms. Just wanted to share that with you guys.
Whoa, for a second I thought you were my evil twin.

My wife had the SRT8 Jeep as well. It was fast and felt it too....around town that is. My M3 is manual so she didn't drive it too much. She liked it better than M3 and said so, but wasn't about to call my car slow. The clincher was when I took her out to the track and she rode as passenger. She only made it though one session and got motion sick....oops.

The SRT8 took a dump recently, we lemoned it and got her a CTS-V Wagon. Now she really has got the horsepower edge on me, but I gotta tell you, the M3 is still a better car.

Nah, you never get full value when you trade in the wife. You might get a better model, but it typically costs at least half of everything.

Take her past 8000 see if she think it's still slow. If she does, time to supercharge that bad boy.

C'mon, you're married-----you gotta read between the lines here and make the proper translation. Let me translate for you. What she really said was:

"Honey, you need to mod your car right now. You have carte blanche with the checkbook!"

So, don't walk----run to the nearest mod shop and drop a blower in there. Your wife wants you to. In fact, she'll think less of you if you don't. Hurry!

My solution would be to take her to a local track and race her to a 1/4 mile. Make sure to do a doughnut while giving her the finger after you win...

Since no one has asked yet, is your wife hot? Answer will not be valid without pics...

On the post below, if they were really driving like they were driving a civic, they would be fine. Would have to be in the 6000+ rpm range to get it to do anything...

With 470hp/470lb-ft and AWD, she will smoke you early on.

Just tell her there's a TSB at the dealership for the speed issue and you need to go in for the Dinan parts to be installed...
