running wrong size tires??

my current setup: eibach with 255/35/18 275/35/18 PSS

i read from a post that i am supposed to run 255/40 instead of 35......is this why the tires rub in the back and also the weird handling i am getting?

the lower profile shouldnt cause extra rubbing it will just create a larger gap between your fender and tire and be a smaller diameter than the stock set up.

Its all subjective. I have seen all sizes that you are suppose to run. I am going to run 255/35 or a 265/35 and a 275 or 285 rear. Going with 35 series on both. This is of course with Volk TE37s or ADVAN RG2s.

Shorter sizes should not be causing rubbing. Unusual that 275 would rub on the rear, especially if it is shorter than stock.

And a harsher ride, with less protection for your wheels

Are you using the standard 18" wheels or are you running aftermarket wheels?
