feel like I'm gonna give up on this lux install!

i just can't get the teeth to match up! I'm 5'8 and thought this would be a piece of cake with my hands but I've been at one bulb for the past 30 mins!
Any advice even though i've searched countless threads?

They do not need much force to twist them into place at all. If you look at our install guide we have some helpful tips in helping them get aligned into place.

use a reversed pair of pliers with a rubberized grip to do the final turn. I used a pair of needle nosed pliers. Use the rubberized grips to hold the heatsink of the bulb part and turn. MUCH easier than trying to do it with your hands.

Of course this requires that you got it aligned right first.

It's also helpful to match up the precise position of the teeth when you remove the OEM bulbs to the Lux bulbs, and then mark a line on the Lux bulb heatsink so you know where the starting point needs to be to get it into the socket. This only gets you part of the way there though, the install is still frustrating

This is exactly what I did. Still a PITA though. Well worth the effort.

I had to use my fingers ONLY. Not my hand, but my first 2 fingers. I AM talking about the lux install.

Thank you for the inspiration. I just finished installing my LED's. Just keep forcing your hand and turning till you bleed!

Mine were not LUX by the way. I bought these for $130:

After I got the first one on, the 2nd took less than 5 minutes. Looks beautiful! I would post pics but honestly it looks so much better in person. The camera ruins how defined the angel eyes are
