Question US Millworks license plate holder

Greetings,

Just wondering if anyone has purchased one of the US Millworks license plate holders (see linky) ? If so, have you been happy with the product ? I think it looks really nice and seems well built too.

Also, how do I remove the front tow hook port, without scuffing the paint ? I think someone mentioned it is spring held in place and will just 'pop-out' if you press in the right place, true ?

http://www.usmillworks.com/bmw_front..._tow_hook.html

Thank You,
Merlin

Ive got it. Its awesome. Tow hook cover just pops out if i recall correctly.
One tip, keep the alan wrench handy. Depending on how you angle the plate you might need to loosten it to remove for a track day. Youll see what i mean if you buy one.

Great kit! Highly recommended and just wrap some tape around a flat head screwdriver to pop off the cover. It just clips onto the bumper.

Despite the costly price tag, it's a good quality built product and great durability! A convenient if you also get the detachable adaptor which allows you to slide off the plate as opposed to turning it out.

The one thing I noticed is that you can't put two cotter pins together because it's a bit long unless you trim it.

As for the tow hook port cover, just press the top area in firmly with your fingers.

its sort of a pain in the ass to get the ball "joint" section together lol....i just do'nt even use it anymore and leave my tow hook on the bumper now. if you dont want to scratch it while removing, just place a towel around the bolt and into the gap of the tow hook area and just twist.

Great product, very good quality. I wouldn't buy anyone else's tow hook license plate.

You can get the longer bolt if you plan to take it on/off more frequently. The one for the BMW's that come stock doesn't clear the bumper.

If you're looking for a quality piece, you can't go wrong with this. Out of all the parts I bought for my car, I'm by far most impressed with USMILLWORKS in terms of quality.
