Official OEM BMW Alcantara Wrapping Thread

Posted these up at M3forum and E46fanatics where I actually post and not just lurk like I do here, but wanted to extend the service to you guys too.

Well ever since I covered the majority of the pieces in my car a few months ago with the OEM BMW charcoal alcantara I've had a bunch of people interested in getting me to do cover some stuff for them. The material is expensive but its the best money can buy and where BMW buys directly for all their OEM alcantara needs, so does Audi, Lamborghini, Porsche, etc. Its UV protected, the whole nine yards, although it doesn't come cheap its worth it and if you go with the BMW charcoal color it matches the ZCP steering wheels, the OEM alcantara shift boots as well as the e-brake boot.

Small little pieces covered in this material really do wonders for the interior. My interior looks 10x better than before.

If you're interested in me covering some pieces for you feel free to PM me and i'll get you some pricing. Can also get other colors besides the OEM BMW charcoal color.

Standard price for a full trim package covered is $350. For other pieces, etc. PM me. The basic procedure would be for you to remove your trim or other pieces, ship them to me, i'd cover them the same night, then ship them back out in the morning and provide you with tracking info.

Here is the professional glue gun I use to administer the adhesive to the pieces and also pictures of the pieces covered in my car.

I covered nearly everything I could in the car. I redid the headliner, sunshade, A pillars, B pillars, C pillars, rear deck, and the trim. Car looks 100% better, and once everything came back together I really love it. Looks even more amazing in person, and i'm positive this stuff will never wear or fade because all of these places are non-contact spots. And even if they do get rubbed up against alot I don't think it'll matter, as its not going to see oil from hands on a constant basis such as a ZHP steering wheel. I plan on doing the steering wheel trim soon too. This stuff is an exact match to the shift boots I have.

The trim

The headliner and sunshade

The rear deck and pillars

A few weeks ago forum member Snowbdr6 from M3forum contacted me and wanted a couple pieces from her Alpine White 2006 SMG M3 covered. She wanted the SMG dome and the lower part of her steering wheel trim covered. So she sent everything out and I got it covered the same night and shipped back out the next day. Turned out very good, can't wait to see pictures of the stuff installed. Pictures don't do it justice.

Here are some pictures:

Do want. I'd really like a shift boot and steering wheel done.

Looks awesome. Very nice work.

So if I want my entire headliner done in alcantara, do I just fedex you my whole roof?

Anyone have a DIY on how to remove the roof from a coupe preferably without using a sawzall?
