adc,

What options did you get on your M3 if you don't mind me asking?

The reason I ask is because it looks exactly like mine from the outside

Thanks

I used a Nikon D90 with Nikkor 2 lenses (12-24mm and 18-20mm VR). I'm still getting used to it, its metering system is more finicky than the D80's I had before.

I did 6682 km (4152 miles) in about 15 days. BMW didn't help with the planning at all - I know they have some travel services but they are very expensive - and besides, I enjoy planning my trips.

It was a little too much driving for a relaxing vacation, but then again Spain is far away and very big - so if you want to see Spain, you'll put some miles on the car.

Thank you all for the kind comments.

Wow - creating that post must have taken nearly as long as doing the trip itself!!!

Really good write up and some excellent pics.

Can I ask what days you were at the Ring, as I was there recently, and at least one of the cars you pictured I also snapped?

I was there Sunday, July 19th in the afternoon, in the session right after the race. Next time I'll go when they have a full day to maximize the exposure.

OK - that was 1 week before me. So the LSB E46 with UK plates must have been there for at least a week.

Dedication to the cause!

Fantastic pics! this is an awesome way to document the the trip. You accomplished what I wasn't able to...which is to take a ton of pics from all the places you drove and visited. I saw so much during my trip but just didn't get around to shooting as much like I had planned to.

Great job!

Sounds like a plan... just perhaps not for 2010. My wife would kill me.

Come to think of it, I think there was such a beast a few years ago. If I remember correctly, a bunch of people went on a "2002 M Euro Delivery" tour.

Anyway, I hope my next ED coincides with a nice F1 race, LeMans or at least the 3 day BMW Nurburgring school held every year at the beginning of August.

Thanks! I was admiring your pictures and the exquisite post-processing you did on them. I guess the drawback of taking so many pictures is that I'll never have time to process all of them correctly.
