Thanks everyone.
Question for those who installed HID on their cars. Where do you draw the power from? My understanding is, the AE wires don't supply enough voltage to power the HIDs. When I measured the voltage yesterday and it read only 3.8v. Sorry, I'm using my phone and unable to use the search function at the moment. .

The best? How about OEM!

I don't understand why so many people want to swap out their OEM angel eyes. All you gain is a different color. Who cares? I guarantee that if the OEM angel eyes were white or blue then everyone would want the yellow color that comes stock. If yellow angel eyes were not stock - I'm imagining all of the threads with people saying how cool it is to have yellow angel eyes just like the yellow lights on the BMW ALMS car.... The latest must-have accessory.

Rant ended.

Some go this route. the GP Thunder 7500K and coding (brighter AEs) make a big improvement over stock AEs - we've done this in-house for a number of M3 owners that aren't ready to pull the trigger on a LED solution.

For those looking for the brightest/OEM-type solution, the AIBs are the way to go. Since we manufacture them in-house, they're always in stock.

Umnitza Predator Orion V2. These are hands down the best looking AE's for the E9x cars.

Yes there is more work involved, but it is without a doubt the best look.

They are $245.99. The same if not less than LUX and the other LED solutions.

I went AIB and like them. The quality of each unit surpasses the LUX lights IMO. The LUX looked cheaper in comparison so went with the AIBs. Do we need them? Not really, but I liked the look of the 2012 M3 and new 5 series lights.

Umnitza was cool for the E46 M3 crowd/car but not for this car. Just me. I used Umnitza and they were always good to me when I lived in the Bay Area but the quality was cheap and so was the price so went with them back in the day.

Again just my opinion. All my E92 M3 needs have been met by BMW of Vista, Horsepower Freaks and EAS.

Interesting.

I've been wanting to do an upgrade anyway. Maybe it's now the time.
