E93 m3 roof of leaking in the heavy rain

I bought this E93 M3 like 8 months ago and I had a problem with it leaking in a pressure coin operated carwash in the first month. It was kind of like a drip on the passenger seat and the same even on the driver side. In the manual it says that high pressure washers cause leaking so I never did it again/

Just yesterday I brought my car in for service and they took it through their carwash and it leaked like hell after that. All day that day it was raining the hardest I've seen in the last 8 months and it was leaking while I was in the car and even when I left it parked outside.

I contacted bmw na and they said get it diagnosed. They might be able to help me out on the cost or something like buy it back maybe? I think I might even have to take this to court for the lemon law.

What are the steps I should be taking? Also has this happened to anybody here before? What should I do in general?

I would think new seals as the old ones may have become flattened/hardened and no longer effective.

On another board I frequent, the moderator wrote this sticky, so it may show you the trouble spots:

If you bought new lemon law applies, but dealer gets at least 3 cracks to repair. If you bought used then its a warranty item. If you bought used and out of warranty you are sol, and must hope for a goodwill repair or credit from BMW NA.

You don't say mileage or year of car or whether it has ever been in an accident or the rubber seals left to dry out in the hot sun.

I picked up some Krytox after reading this guide for my convertible. It definitely helps to make the seals more pliable which makes for a quieter ride.

Try some of that.

So no lemon law, or warranty. It could be seals, but two of my E93s needed the roof adjusted. Go over a bumpy road, does the roof rattle? If so it needs adjustment, might get a better seal after that.
