I'm looking at the pictures now and I see an H crossover before the X crossover. Is that an actual exhaust crossover point or just a linkage point so that the pipes stay aligned?

You believe those 3 pieces of Ti tubing are worth $3500??? The more I look at it I can't believe its $1000+ more than the Evo mid-pipe. I mean... less welds, 2 less high quality HRC, and 2 less resonators. Is the merge section different as well? Only thing I can image is they are producing a smaller volume so that in their minds makes it more valuable.
It really does just look like two tubes were cut along the side to form a merge point instead of an actual merge section being designed/fabricated to optimize flow and then welded on to the the straight pipes running to the headers. Is the location of the merge moved up closer to the tranny now that the cats were removed or is it in the same location as Evo? |

I'd love to get the GT4 pipes, but I just barely pass sound at Laguna Seca with the Evo and the GT4 would put me well over.
