Dealer cost for spark plug change

I did a search and found several threads for the cost of the plugs, but does anyone know how much the dealer charges to change the plugs when the car is outside of the warranty? Thanks in advance for the help.

I was told $700 a few years back which included plugs.

I found the plugs can be up to $24 each. I guess around 2hrs labor + $200 for eight plugs should give me a good/rough idea on how much when I take it in. Thanks for the help everyone.

i think i did all the plugs in a hour and a set of 8 plugs was about 75$ on amazon. its really easy.

$150 or less is fair, plus parts, at an independent place.

Yep, shouldn't be more than $300 or thereabouts including labor if it is a good quote. Got my plugs on amazon for $80 shipped and did it myself in about 2 hours (45 min of which was trying to wrangle that dang passenger side cabin side plug out with the limited socket choices at my disposal). Definitely get the coil remover on amazon that a forum member made up if diy, it makes coils a breeze.

Paid about $180 for install. Don't get the plugs through the dealer.

That seems inflated, especially for a tech with all of the necessary tools.

Could you work at that speed everyday all day long??
Could the tech discover a faster method than the manufacturer's repair procedure by leaving out a few steps or using different tools? Happens every day!
