1. The gloss' shine compliments the high gloss of the SSII paint 2. matte black are all 3rd party custom jobs, they fade, look bad, and tend to overpay for them. Seriously get Edition gloss versions and don't look back. |

Alright, I'm really conflicted now... At first I was going to go gloss black, then I saw velocity's matte and really liked the way they pretty much disappear. But Jesal's photos are nuts! I'm guessing the matte looks great from a distance but less so once you get close.
Are the Edition ones all black gloss, or are some black chrome? |

I also haven't bought the side gills yet for the same reason, you can't even tell on a SSII car whether it's blacked out or not, and the OEM chrome looks pretty good. |

Also helps to match the look of the big inlets at the bottom of the front clip. |

I've got the same issue with the dimples. I'm sure I could layer it if I went back and filled it more. Just don't have the patience for it, plus it looks good enough. My car isn't a garage queen.

At some point, all those chips become the patina of a well-loved and hard-driven car. Thinking of old 911s with lots of chips on the rear fenders from track work... Last edited by davesaddiction; 04-30-2013 at 12:55 PM.. |
