OEM M3 Edition grill on an E90 LCI M3?

Is this possible? Seems like according to this link,
http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462
the perf. grill can be used for all M3's, the E90/E92/E93's. Just double checking to see if anyone's 100% sure on this

These are the standard BMW Performance grills, not the Edition grills.

I know, I'm just using the link as a reference. For some reason, I can't find the Edition grills on the site, but I know its somewhere on there...

BMW doesn't ship them to the US so I don't think it will be on their website. They need to come from Europe. But call them up anyway. If Tischer can't get them IND will be able to.

Cheers.

Already done on my E92, can't see why it wouldn't work on E90.

I'm not familiar with TradeMotion.com. Does anyone haver experience ordering through them? I am very interested in buying the M3 special edition front and side grills. I am assuming that that link is correct but not the part number I was expecting.

They are actually Tischer BMW in Maryland. Very reliable vendor, plenty of forum members have bought from them. Top Notch service.

TradeMotion aka Tischer is a great vendor. I've ordered through Evan and Jason several times, and their patience with all of the questions that I pepper them with is admirable.

They don't exist, unfortunately. I had IND paint me a pair in gloss jet black, which exactly match the BMW Performance front grills. If I were to do it all over again, I'd strongly consider going with the Edition grills and gills now that Tischer is stocking them. But then again, they wouldn't match the window trim, so maybe not.

Thanks! I was quoted a much higher price for the M3 edition parts from somewhere else. This is cool. I think I'm goin' to get me some.

Cheers.

Aajami,

Sorry for my confusion but what do you mean the Edition front and side grills won't match the window trim? I thought the M3 'shadow chrome' edition grills had the same look as the window trim.

I may be wrong, but my assumption is that the M3 window trim is the same gloss black as the BMW Performance front grills. The Edition shadow chrome grills have an ever-so-slight purplish/oily sheen to them that our trim doesn't have.

There have been similar discussions about the differences between shadow chrome and gloss black in other threads, and which is actually the color of our M3 window trim. Try doing a search, or wait for someone more informed to chime in.

Yup, we are a BMW dealership (Tischer BMW of Silver Spring, MD) that offers the best deals on genuine BMW parts/accessories through our internet parts dept. for the multiple online communities and forums we proudly support! Our site is www.getBMWparts.com.......and the company that makes our software is trademotion...so that's why our pages are indexed like that.

Here's a pic of the black/chrome m3 edition grills...

They do resemble the gloss black performance grills...but the finish is slightly different and looks unique under different lighting.

They will fit your e90 lci m3!

Find these, and many other great specials here!

Thread revival... I'm in Canada and called BMW for a quote to de-chrome my e92 M3.

I didn't realize that the "Performance Edition" and "Edition" grills were in fact diffrent.

I want the grille to exactly match the black shadowline trim around the windows. I have the CF roof, but decided to stay away from the CF grille as I have read many have problems with delaminating discoulouration.

That being said, BMW in Canada said they have the "Performance Edition" grills, but could not locate a mataching "Performance Edition" side marker/gill part to match.

Just to be sure - the "Performance Edition" is gloss black that matches the trim. and the "Edition" set are black chrome. Right?

Does anyone know if BMW offers a gloss black "Performance Edition" side marker/gill set to match the grille?

Thanks!
