Exactly. The last one-vote contest was almost tied and even then it went to the wrong person because the tie was broken so late in the process. Multiple votes gets you a better feeling for the best image because it averages out each person's first and second (and maybe third) choice.

when you see something like this (potential for a 6-way tie), then either we are equally as good, or equally suck, and there is no clear winner.

Sorry guys.. contest n00b here.. I thought these things were one vote as it made sense to me.. What's the big deal if there's a tie anyways? It just means multiple people's pictures were awesome

Picking the next theme and makng the threads are no honor.. it's kind of a lot of work and you even get automatically disqualified in the next contest b000oooOO00O
