What sliders can be used on Recaro sportster CS seats?

Are recaro sliders the only ones that'll work? or can I use universal sliders or VAC sliders?

and should I get the one with tabs or without tabs?

probably get the fastest response if you call VAC and just ask. i believe you can run a couple other sliders but don't quote me on that

I haven't received then yet. will update thread when I do, I read many places that the seat will be at least and inch lower. but I believe they are talking about side mount seats,
but from what I saw when I took out my stock seat was that it looks like it's going to be almost 3-4 inches lower. I am mounting my Recaro Sportster CS on the Rouge engineering mounts and to the Macht Schnell floor mounts so it's going to be super low.

I am the same. 6'3" all torso and got the CS and slammed them to the floor. Huge improvement.

how was the leg positioning, comfort compared to the higher stock seats?
was it weird to be closer to the ground and your legs straighter than before for using the pedals?

Everything feels much better from my perspective. If I could just get the heat to work w OEM controls I will be very happy.

do the heated options increase the size of the seat? aka do i sit higher cuz of the heating elements?

what sliders and options did you choose, i need to invest in whatever you got lol.

how much headroom do you have?

do you gangsta lean or sit upright, race car style?

i was told by companies like EAS that the heating part was supposed to be plug and play, easy mode. now you got me scared

any pics of the seat/car and possible you in y our seating position for reference?

how much headroom do you have? a good amount... not sure off hand.. but want to say 3" or so more

do you gangsta lean or sit upright, race car style? somewhere inbetween

I dont have heat... was thinking about adding a OEM pad and trying to wire to use the OEM buttons. I think the recaros that come w heat have their own button on the side. Unless you get the BMW performance seats which probably are indeed plug and play.

I'll have to take some.

Look above i answered in your quoted text.

CS to me was the best visual design, fit, and i liked the fact it was what BMW picked as OEM for the performance seats.

Just a little update on this thread, I got Mach Schnell sliders, and had to re drill new holes into them to fit.
So I have Sportster CS seats+sliders+machschnell floor mounts.
I seriously feel like a midget now, I am 6'1" and I can barely see over the hood now, lol, It seriously dropped me like 5" down, The sun visor doesn't cover my eyes anymore and I cant see behind me when backing up lol.. Although I do like feeling completely surrounded by the door and dash like a race car, I feel like its about 2" extra low.

So hopefully that answers your question as to how much lower the seating position will be.
