What sliders can be used on Recaro sportster CS seats?
Are recaro sliders the only ones that'll work? or can I use universal sliders or VAC sliders?
and should I get the one with tabs or without tabs?

I haven't received then yet. will update thread when I do, I read many places that the seat will be at least and inch lower. but I believe they are talking about side mount seats,
but from what I saw when I took out my stock seat was that it looks like it's going to be almost 3-4 inches lower. I am mounting my Recaro Sportster CS on the Rouge engineering mounts and to the Macht Schnell floor mounts so it's going to be super low.

was it weird to be closer to the ground and your legs straighter than before for using the pedals?

Everything feels much better from my perspective. If I could just get the heat to work w OEM controls I will be very happy.

CS to me was the best visual design, fit, and i liked the fact it was what BMW picked as OEM for the performance seats.

Just a little update on this thread, I got Mach Schnell sliders, and had to re drill new holes into them to fit.
So I have Sportster CS seats+sliders+machschnell floor mounts. I seriously feel like a midget now, I am 6'1" and I can barely see over the hood now, lol, It seriously dropped me like 5" down, The sun visor doesn't cover my eyes anymore and I cant see behind me when backing up lol.. Although I do like feeling completely surrounded by the door and dash like a race car, I feel like its about 2" extra low. So hopefully that answers your question as to how much lower the seating position will be.
