euro bumper install NYC

anyone have any suggestions? got into a fender bender in holland tunnel yesterday and figured nows a good time to get the euro bumper from the EAS perf. guys. should i just have it shipped to BMW of manhattan? or are there some guys in the area the group trusts?

It's a pretty easy job to do yourself, but any dealer can do it for you.

Yeah not sure dealers will do it since it's euro bumper and technically they may not be allowed to install

BMW Manhattan definitely would be weird about it -- I couldn't even get them to install non-OE tires.

That's not even bad. This is on my wish list. Painted bumper inserts just won't do.

OP- Suggest you find an Indy shop you're comfortable with. Given that the euro bumper is likely not "dot approved", your bonded and otherwise legally nervous dealership won't want to do the install. More so given that the front bumper is considered a "safety" item these days.

This. It's only about 15 screws top and bottom. There's several DIY threads floating on the internets detailing how to remove it.
