Still the best

When the M3 arrived I was given a book on the history of the M3, and for many of us the headline still applies:

fast forward 10 years when the world is overcome with electric cars, the V8 will be the car to prize over....
I came from a Porsche and the last of the air cooled cars (993 and in some cases the 964) is what ours will become.

Yes the later Porsches are unbelievable cars but the 993/964 are the essence of cool; just look at Singer and their interpretations of the classics. Its all about the look and sound and our cars have big ticks in both.

No artificial sound coming from the speakers in our cars.... that's the equivalent of stuffing socks down your jocks!

Spot on Rod, and wouldn't you think if they are faking it you could at least have a decent fake sound

its actually embarrassing that to they need to "amplify" the sound inside the cabin.
You either have it or you don't. It's the equivalent of those WRX bonnet scoops on Hyundai Excels....

I got a copy too. It's sad that there will no longer be a NA engine in a /// car. Time to put the v8 in a time capsule
