Quick Verizon iPhone report

I got the Verizon iPhone last week when they came out. The phone part works ok mostly, but the names are switched around -- last name then first name. Using voice commands is driving me nuts because of that until I get used to it since the other phone was first then last name. I haven't plugged it into the audio system since I'm using my iPod video (5th gen iPod).

Anybody else get the Verizon iPhone?

This is the same for all iphones. Just go into the settings on the phone and change the phone book so it shows first name first. This is what I have been doing for the past few years.

Thanks for the tip. I did that. Now it'll have to wait until this afternoon before I can check it out in the car. I was used to the way the other phone I had (Samsung Omnia) worked. Once you get used to it one way, doing it differently takes some adjusting.

You can do the same thing on your blackberry. I have my blackberry set up to sort by first name.
