Are those wheels from BBS? I thought that BBS was bankrupt... but anyway, does anyone know which serie wheels those are? I'm kinda digging them...

One benefit of the U.S., is that you can really drive whatever the hell you want, and do what you like to it. Compared to most countries (with maybe the exception of those crazy Japanese tuner vans), we have some unique cars on the road.

There you go! Upon a second look, there really is no 3rd pedal. Squential manual as one would expect. Thanks for the clarification.

Guys, there seems a rather unsubtle hint in the strapline above the car on stage

"'Racecars shouldn't be confined to Racetracks"

Sure, it's based on the E92 M3.

so what all is different between the P65 and the S65 engine? in other words how difficult would it be to get 485hp out of the street M3 engine?

There certainly is a third pedal. That is not inconsistent with a sequential RACING box, though.

Absolute Class, now this is what a totally modified M3 should look like, maybe without that massive rear spoiler.

The difficult part is not making the power. The difficult part is making the power and keeping the engine in one piece for 100k miles (or whatever). These cars will see motor teardowns a lot more often than your street car will (which should righly be never, unless you are building a garage queen ).

I asked this in another BMW forum, but does anyone else see heavy Concept CS styling cues in the front and rear body work?

Oh and I'm totally buying a four day full paddock access ticket to the Petit LeMans in 2009...
