Those with carbonfiber front lips, questions about stone chips

Curious to those who have carbonfiber front lips. I want to know what effect stone chips have on the clear coat? Does the clear flake right off or crack and make it look really bad? Or is it similar to painted parts where it just looks pitted?

Get clearbra on it, solves 95% of any stone chipping. If it's a huge rock, your lip will obviously get wrecked

had my cf splitters on a couple months now and only have one very small scuff mark from a rock. it's my daily driver too.

best thing to do is 3M film it.
