How many miles on a set of PS2s?

Has anyone gone through a set of PS2s yet? If so, how many miles did you get out of them? Did it include any track days?

I haven't gone through mine yet. 4K+ miles, two track events and I have a little more than 5/32" worth of tread - more on the outside of the tire.

I have an autox next Sunday, and hopefully schedule permitting another HPDE in November. So far, so good.

I will check mine to see how much tread I have left. I have almost 6k miles and think I have at least 50-60% tread left. Have around 1000 miles of aggressive driving with the remaining being spirited to daily driving.

my first set of rears were pretty much toast after 5k mi. my second set of rears and the original fronts are pretty much toast already at 8500 mi, but that did include a hard track day.

From what I've seen and heard, you can expect about 10,000-15,000 miles or so on a set.

Mine are almost done, sitting right over 9000 miles with 2 track days and one autox. They'll be done by 10k.

I must drive like a grandpa on the street. I have 4 hard track days (one in the rain) and 8500 miles and it seems like I have at least half my tread left. I need to buy a tread depth gauge.

My fronts were done and were swapped out for Pilot Sport Cups today at 7000 miles and 5 track days. The rears were also swapped out, but it looks like they have another 3000-4000 on them. I'll keep them in case I got back to PS2s.

Obviously the M3 won't be a winter driver with PSCs on it

Haha, the first half of one of those track days was wet. The track dried out for the last 2 sessions, though.

What, PSCs are not good on the snow!?

I've been tricked. The guy who sold me the tires said they'd be perfect!

Now, the search begins for snow tires/wheels. I wish I never moved out of CA.

What are you planning on doing for the winter?

I'll be driving my '97 Ford Expedition EB, 4x4 (tow vehicle/winter driver/4 door people hauler) original owner, 145K on the clock.

The M3 will be in the garage when the snowflakes fall.

I have to say, I lived in CA twice, there's lots to do and see but I don't want to go back.

I have about 4300 on mine....& they still have lots of tread left.....1 track day or 5 20+/- minute sessions + a bunch of burnouts-Launch control....I would guess 15k at a minimum, probably more like 20k+ before they are gone

I have 15,500 miles up and the rears are down to just under 3mm, fronts just under 4mm .... Will need to change them in the next couple of thousand miles
