I'm stoked, but should I be?
Recently I was consistently running laps under 2:14 at the Miller Motorsports Park Perimeter Course. My fastest lap was 2:13.18. Tommy Milner, a pro driver on the Rahal Letterman BMW GT M3 team, recently recorded a "best lap" time of 2:14.25 in a stock 2011 M3 (DCT, ZCP) around the same course. So I'm running faster than Tommy Milner?!? I drive a stock 2011 M3 (DCT, ZCP) as well. I've only been track driving for 1.5 years. Any thoughts on how a novice can post consistently better lap times than a pro? Thanks.

Different day different conditions so it is tough to compare times.I have seen days where I have been 3 seconds slower in the afternoon due to the conditions. However with that said you are on the right track(pun intended!) and continue to have fun and enjoy your track time.
