Garden State Parkway Riddled With Cops
Jeez, its been a while since I took the GSP anywhere, but by god there must have been a car pulled over every 3 miles this morning around 8:30 on southbound up in Bergen county, and on my way back up there were 4 LEO's just prowling pulling people over left and right, hiding in ever nook and cranny that parkway has to offer.
I'm sure most of you know this already but damn, avoid the GSP at all costs especially in a fast looking car. Immediate pull over, thank god I was in the clear. If you must, I warn you anything 5 over the limit will attract their attention. I should also say I'm not running a radar like most of you, which I really need to get... |

i actually got an email on my job from 1 of our corporate people that sometime in july and will last for 30 days that there will be about 200 state police to be scattered all over the major highways in NJ & will be pulling over anybody going 5 miles above speed limit or whatever BS reason they may think of. but, i guess they already began this 30 days thing...

It's ridiculous, I just got pulled over yesterday for absolutely nothing... again. Sure, pull me over when I'm speeding, but when I'm doing 60 on a 55? Some of these troopers really need to get a life and stop giving bs tickets like it's a ritual of summer.

At this point its literally the luck of the draw. I was probably one or two cars away from being pulled over today like 4 times, but the guy in front of me was doing 2 or 3 mph over me and gets pulled instead. Summer driving in the broke state of NJ is now officially a chore. |

Apparently getting pulled over for no reason is the new trend when driving on the GSP. I could count the many time I get pulled over because they think my windows are tinted...it's not. The dumbfounded looks on their faces is priceless.

I seldom drive on the GSP, but this is definitely cause for concern. I'm sure this will spill over to the other major highways soon. Didn't know NJ was broke and trying to generate revenue through ticketing. Having the highest property tax in the states, I don't see how the state can be broke. What a joke!

I'm glad the NJ police are focusing on real crime than what's been happening around Jersey City. I'm sure those f***ers still haven't been caught, but they're too busy giving out 5MPH tickets. What a joke.

you guys are hilarious.. quotas.. time of the month money generators hahah you have no idea. as per fact a quota for a police department in NJ is illegal and all traffic stops and summons written are tracked including license plates that are run and locations. you see a cop driving around you think hey they make all this money and do nothing. you see them pulling someone over and you bash them for doing their job. happy motoring kiddies
