Looks good! Have you heard anything else in person to compare it to (as in how loud)? I want a loud exhaust but more of a F1 high-pitched sound instead of a deep v8 rumble (like a v8 Mustang)...In your opinion does it sound more like a deep v8 rumble or more of a F1 high-pitched sound? Were you just dynoing the cat-back or header-back? Was your before/after hp/tq gain just like what Vivid Racing has listed on their website (5hp & 3ft/lbs of torque gain)? Thx!

The pitch is deep however there is no "rumble" like a mustang. The low pitch is between the 2,500 - 5,000RPM and then it gets higher similar to a F1 but still keeps a V8 sound.. When the car is idling my neighbor can hear it because its pretty deep but doesn't rumble.

The HP gains are truthful. The dyno run that is the that video is the run they got the report from. That was Agency Power dyno'ing my car.

Thanks for the comments guys. Actually the Agency Power exhaust systems we make the prototypes here in our Arizona facility, then we do testing, fitment, dyno, etc. Once we finish that, we usually make about 10 here and then have our production units made overseas. Agency Power has a great rep and makes great products. You can search the Agency Power Blog at www.agency-power.com/blog.

Thanks for sharing!

1) Any specific reason why the tips are only 70mm (same size as oem I think)? Every other manufacturer's doing at least 83mm. IMO, the tips are way too small.

2) I'm curious why did Agency Power do straight pipes (for the midpipes) instead of an X or H-pipes? Again, every other manufacturer's doing an X or H-pipes.

3) Can we get more vids/sound clips of the actual production cat-back exhaust as well as hear the sound difference between an M3 installed w/the cat-back exhaust vs an M3 w/the full header-back exhaust? Thx!

Why be like EVERY other manufacturer

There has always been a production video and sound clip - http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/a...8-p-63337.html

I was asking b/c there must a specific reason why Agency Power went w/straight pipes instead of an X or H-pipes. Either b/c it's cheaper to manufacturer (less bends/welds = less time to build?) and/or better hp/tq gains. Some prefer 83mm tips while others prefer 90mm tips. Regardless, bigger tips IMO (& I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way) look better.

Also, why are there no hanger mounts on the midpipes? Usually the midpipes (for this car) have 2-4 mounts (oem has 4).

I've seen those 2 videos for awhile now but that 1st video is of the prototype (completely different design) & the 2nd video is on the dyno. Would be nice to hear sound clips on the road. Also, would be nice to hear the sound difference between an M3 w/just the cat-back vs an M3 w/the full header-back exhaust. I'm very tempted (especially since a local vendor has both items in stock) but need more info. Not trying to give you a hard time but it'd be nice to have as much info & sound clips available before committing since that's a big investment for me. Thx for your time!

I got my exhaust on Wednesday and I just got back from NYC. Sorry Guys I haven't had time to post up any videos or pics but will soon! I love the sound, it has a nice deep tone at low rpms and as the rpms rise so do the DBs but I doesn't drone above 80mph you don't hear it. It has a unique sound it's deep but doesn't rumble like a mustang but sounds throaty. As for the tips I think they are pretty large and fit the openings very well. They are noticibly larger than the stock tips. As for the weight, it is much lighter than stock (I didn't weight it, Taylor stated it was about 20 or so lbs lighter than stock) but lifting both units there is a marked difference. Overall a well built exhaust for the price.

i've heard the meistercraft gt and eisenmann sport and race. I would say it's about the eisnemann race's sound level slightly deeper, sound but definitely not as loud as the meistercraft.

These tips are 2.75" each & I thought da oem tips are da same size, no? I'll measure later. I've only heard da Eisen. Race in person & thought it was still too quiet. I think this combined with their midpipes would be loud enough for me, hmm...

Thx, I appreciate da info! If I wasn't picking up a Vorsteiner cf painted trunk tomorrow, I'd be all over this right now. Looking forward to da sound clips!
