I know this was on public roads, but it doesn't sound like he got anywhere near redline or even tried to push the car. Was he purposely taking it easy?

he took it to 7900 several times, currently they are setting redline to 8500 since it has the calico coated rod bearings on it now

i drove it and didnt think it was bad at all, just a minor 5 degrees lack of steering pressure in the center

Very cool car. I wonder if it is a tad faster than a E92M given it should weigh a bit less. Also wonder how that rear subframe holds up after the conversion.

Agreed, he looks scared (at least on camera) of half the cars he reviews. I don't think I've ever seen him redline a car; doesnt he race cars in some enduro thing? He's pretty dull, never seems to have that infectious excitement and charisma that someone like Harris or Needle does. Its a shame because he reviews some amazing cars, like this one!

On the contray I find that tasteful. Not sure he'd had that many interesting objects to drive should he continously spank the shit out of them. Respect for others stuff.
