I called everyday untill I got my order to status 150. Now that I know the car is produced and waiting transport. Now I can sit back and watch the clock, "tick-tock-tick-tock"

Did you seriously call everyday? Lol did your SA get annoyed after awhile?

I dont think calling everyday will help in my situation...theres 6 people ahead of me and they have not gotten their 2nd allocation yet. First 2 cars they got are 112 status and will not be sold.

lol I did but my SA is a family friend . In fact it almost seems as though he would call me more often then I called him. He kept me up to date on every little detail.

It's better to keep in touch with them every couple of days... my sales guy found a 2nd week of February production slot for a sedan, and was all ready to surprise me with a production number... unfortunately, I changed my mind to go for M-DCT, so they had to scramble around to give my car to the next guy, and get me back in the queue for the first M-DCT sedan in April or May.

I see, i was wondering...since im number 7 on the list, lets say noone in front of me wants M-DCT and they have a DCT slot open, since i have M-DCT spec'd does that mean i get that spot which technically means i kind of cut the line?

BMW of Houston North. Same owners as the one in Woodlands. When did you put your order in?

Yeah, I understand that. My paperwork says Req. Prod. Date. So it's definitely not set in stone. And that's why I'm worried.

I guess that simply means you are in the production line with the rest of us who don't have a solid production date but with accepted orders.

Yeah, but I'm still status 047 as far as I know and you're at 111. I have a message into my CA. Hopefully he has good news when I hear from him.

From what I was told today, the jumping in line has been sedan people getting open spots from the coupe and cab waiters, and 6 speed people getting open slots from the m-dct waiters (which is why my original order for 6 speed sedan came open for mid Feb production). Now I'm back in the queue for sedan M-DCT.

I wasn't aware of that. Yes, I'm 111. What is 047?

I think it's the very initial status of when they first put in the order. Not sure if that even means it's been accepted, which might be 087. I'm a little concerned but gasman is going through the same dealership so not sure what's up.

047 is an order entered without an allocation available.

ahh, i'm just itchin and ancy to get my production # and see my order go 111...just to have that peace of mind knowing it's in the system and done so I don't have to question.

Hopefully this week

When I log onto BMW owners circle all I get is "on order" status. How do you find out the number?
