A friend of mine crushed into a tree, he was going about 80mph, the posted speed limit was 45mph, he was driving back from a strip club after having 8 drinks

luckily he walked out without injuries.

I'm new to the forums, just wanted to share this with everyone...drive safe, don't drink and drive!

It looks like a side impact, so the air bag would do more harm than good.

Thank God he walked from it. Accidents like this can be avoided... we just need more DD's.

Your friend should be thankful he didnt kill himself. Looks to be a lucky strike hitting one of the strongest points of the car. Had the tree impacted behind the A pillar he'd be seriously injured if not killed.
