Finally came to my senses!
Long story short...I've always wanted an M3 but found excuses to justify other car purchases. First was an e46 330i, then an e90 335i with Dinan stage II tune followed by a 2012 f10 535i M-Sport. From the day I took delivery of the 535i, I regretted not pulling the trigger on an M3 - particularly I wanted an E90 M3 as I routinely have clients/my kids with me. Yesterday I found a 2011 AW E90 M3 with 21,000 miles that I couldn't resist. Car has DCT, Novillo leather, Megan exhaust, black VMR wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport tires, black M3 side vents and black M3 badge. I took a bath on my 535i but after less than 60 seconds in the M3, I don't give a damn. I'm like a kid on Christmas morning...smiling non-stop.
Needless to say, I'm absolutely thrilled to be part of the M3 community. I'll post picks later. Right now I'm going for my 4th drive of the night...good god this is awesome!!! |

Congrats to you too! I'm not sure that the Megan exhaust is the long term solution (it was on the car already) but I haven't listened to the stereo for more than 5 minutes because the engine note is unbelievable - especially downshifts in the most aggressive "s" mode...my neighbors hate me already!!!

boo ya. Congrats! E90 with a throaty exhaust is truly a joy. I drive around with all windows down and sunroof open pretty much all the time in the summer.

wow, normally not to keen on the e90 but that thing is sexy as hell...; megan exhaust owner checking in, had someone text me this am pulling into a parking lot that they heard me downshift across the lot, felt great. You are going to love the car and insist on driving everywhere

Congrats from a fellow E90 owner, 6sp man, but the AA Gen 2 Stage 2 makes up for the advatage you DCT guys have over the 6sp.

So far my only complaint is the stumbling act that this thing goes through if I decide to drive immediately after a cold start. Today I had to head out of the office quickly without the benefit of making it through the startup cycle and it seemed like I was driving a 1974 ford pickup with all the shift and rev issues. After less than 1-2 minutes everything smoothed out and it was back to freeway ass kicking! Still lov'n the M3 life!
