Exclamation Laguna Seca track event on 9/15 with 105db limit

Since I wasn't able to go to the BMW CCA event at Laguna Seca in August because my car is too loud, I registered for a Laguna Seca track event with Speed Ventures on Sunday, Sept. 15th as they have a 105db limit for the event. Here's the link to their website to register...hope a few of you guys come out.

No need to be, the Ms are bad ass cars too (I had a white E92 too). Come say hi. It'll be my first time up at Laguna Seca (I can cross it off my bucket list). I did Thunderhill with PCA over Labor Day weekend and that was a blast, I wish the track was closer to me though.

I hear you man. Laguna is a bucket list item for me.

I've been itching for a track day since fontana in May.

I'd go to that event too but my car, even with a stock exhaust, will not pass the 92db limit.

I barely pass 92 with the akra evo. Depends on the weather. Good luck on Sunday!

Oh, I'm good to go for Sunday...the exhaust that I have on does about 103-104db. I'll be steaming if I get meatballed with this higher 105db limit.

Just need to lift at the sound check booth. I have the OEM bypass mod as well and have been flagged when I didn't lift. Once I've learned where/when to lift. No issues.

I'm sure he's probably talking about the 92db limit. I doubt you BMW guys have to lift with a 105db limit. If it's cloudy/overcast, I may have to lift.

the PCA event at Laguna in November is down to only 90db.

We are going to have to drive either a Prius or Tesla to pass the sound test.

Yeah, I posted that on RL (I'm usctrojanGT3 on there). Freaking stupid if you ask me...why not make it 85db or 80db even? Just shut down the damn track and build more homes and get it over with. I was going to go to BMW event but the 92db limit (and me having a board meeting) prevented me from going. When I saw the 105db limit I jumped all over it. The icing on the cake was that I was able to do Thunderhill over Labor Day weekend.

Sorry, forgot to mention it was a 92db day. At 105db, you shouldn't have any problems.

Here is the reason why the low db requirements.

Na, you'll just get flagged for not letting people pass.
