2011+ E90 M3 LED interior lights
Hi,
Has anyone with a 2011+ E90 M3 successfully replaced their interior light with LEDs? If so, what brands? I'm asking because the ones I bought aren't working properly. The LEDs in the front and rear dome light up when I unlock the car, but after 5 min of driving, they stop working, and by the time I turn off the engine, open the door, neither dome lights work. I also noticed that when I replace the front map lights, none of the LEDs would work, therefore, I only swapped out the rear map lights. However, these exact same LEDs work perfectly fine in my friend's 2011 E90 328. So I'm not quite sure what is causing the issue. If you currently have a working solution for LED interior lights. Please share Thanks.

I think I can help. I've done a full LED conversion inside my 2011.5 E90. I have a bit of a mix-and-match setup because I carried over a number of bulbs from my E60 setup.
There's a good reference thread started by Kev (early 2010?) with lots of info on interior LED setups. Dome lights - I use the Luxer1 light. Custom shape for the dome, fits and works perfectly. Best deal I found a while back: http://www.optionsauto.com/LUXER1-LE.../LUX-RM-1105W/ As for other bulbs, I ordered a few from ledlight.com Product ID: 89786, Festoon Super Flux 6 LED Light 1 3/4 Inches / 42 mm Product ID: 45689, 5 Ultra Bright SMT L.E.D. T10 Wedge LED Light, Super White The rest were from my E60 application. Hope that helps.
