What do you think of this deal? 2008 E90 for $47K

2008 E90 M3, 1888 miles, 6 sp manual, Alpine White, Premium package with black leather, 19" wheels, USB/Ipod, bluetooth, excellent condition asking $47,800. Should I buy it or counter offer? Your thoughts please. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the reply. Is there anything different between the 2008 and 2009 models besides the tail lights? What is your opinion on the 6 sp manual? Will it be harder to sell later in the future?

So I'm guessing it has nav? Any other options. I think it would be average. You might be able to get put a little lower.

No nav or tech package. At what price would it begin to be above average deal?

Actually his name is Lambo but since he's in Chinatown....

I keed, I'd say get the car if AW/Black works for you but it doesn't hurt to submit a counter offer at maybe $45k?

Seems like a very good price, esp for those miles. Although I am always suspicious of a car with really low miles and a great price - get an independent inspection done for bodywork before closing a deal.

A couple other points to consider . Sounds like it doesn't have the tech package or sunroof? Some would find that a good thing, most others would want them. Could impact resale value

Since $47k is the asking price, try to aim for low $40k's, or at least $45k.

Doesn't hurt to try.

the nav controls are much nicer on the 2009 models, which doesnt even apply in your case, but other than that, same model

Price is firm. I am still debating. I could get a new 2010 base model for 63K or have a ED for 60K from the dealer.

That price is very fair and I would argue its well above average. Go for it!

Manual wont hurt you on resale, most who buy this car want manual.

No nav and tech will hurt resale more than 6MT but you're getting a good deal now.

Resale depends on how long you plan on keeping car. Under 2k miles is really low and makes the deal a lot better.

Are you happy with the options?

If not then order what you want.

In the coupe you might be right, but it seems the majority of sedan owners opt for the M-DCT. I know I did.

I've noticed that too.

Yet I went with the manual in mine.

I have found another used M3 for sale at the BMW dealer:
2009 E90 M3, 2000 miles, S. Gray w/FR, DCT, USB/IPOD, Parking Sensors, 18" wheels priced at 60K. No sunroof and no packages. Is this a good deal? I live in a small town were E90 M3s are rare. The dealer prices (new and used) are very firm due to supply and demand.

That's what, $25.00 under sticker?

That's a double whammy car -used by mileage and one model year old. I would say, $53,000 will not be a bad offer.

No tech package or Idrive? hmm Well considering a dealership i know has an 2008 with 200 miles (it never sold), fully loaded with every possible option for 55k. Id say offer 44k for that car would be a good deal. Its a fair price at 47k, but no steal.
