UPDATE: Official pictures of the E92 and E93 facelift (no M3 shown yet) can be found here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=341511

Prior to the official unveiling in around 6 hours, the first pictures of the E92/93 facelift have appeared on a German forum:

EDIT: Relevant to the M3 are only the revised rearlights. The headlights remain unchanged.

The updated AEs look much better like those on the new 5 series. They look better than my lux H8.

The taillights I see going to the M3 but the headlights I doubt. Look at the E46 models, the headlights on the facelift coupe never went into the E46 M3. I think the same thing that happen to the sedan will happen to the coupe, just a change in the taillights only.

Though I bet that the LED H8s will make their way over to the M3 as well.

That's what all the fuss was about? Kind of a letdown. The new angel eyes are interesting, though.

I actually really like the tails, I will retrofit those for sure.
The front end grilles and mirrors don't look too good

I like it, but I don't like the trend with BMW making the headlights larger.

I like the new look of the head lights and tail lights.

I retrofitted my E46 M3 to the newer LED tails, hopefully the E92 retrofit will be just as easy.

Looking at those better pics, not feeling the front at all. The rear looks great though.
I doubt you will be seeing the new front on the M3s. They would have to change the hood, fenders, bumpers, grills. A lot of work for small production numbers.

Like said in the first post, the M3 most likely will only get the LED DRLs and turn indicators from the new head lights.

Best regards,
south

Hmm, my initial reaction is that I prefer the existing look better, but it is nice that the tail lights on the coupe are LED's.

Best regards,

Do you really think the E92/92 M3 will get the LED turn indicators, South? Wouldn't that require BMW to produce an entirely new headlight assembly that retains the shape of the existing one?

True...no new headlights for the 2010.5 or 2011 e90/e92 M3
