Personal Record at Laguna Seca with Photos/Video.

Had the opportunity to attend a track day hosted by Apple's Car Club this past tuesday and really had a great time. Being a truly private event, my run group had only 15 cars on track so I had a lot of open track space to attempt setting my personal record times at Laguna Seca. And that I did! I've finally hit the 1:42 mark and there's still plenty of room for improvement.

Another benefit of having very little cars on the track is that the photographer (Dito from gotbluemilk.com) was able to take lots of photos of us. Thought I'd share a few of the ones I like along with a video of my best session (which includes my personal record lap time).

There were some amazing cars at this event. About 5 Mclarens, a Ferrari, and a bunch of GT3's. Apple employees sure love their cars! But I wasn't envious at all as the M3 just shines at the track and I always have a complete blast driving it.

I have 2 gopro's and a contour. One gopro hasn't been working for me for the last few track days. The contour was used for the in-car cam.

Solo DL is capturing my car's data and I sync it all together in an app called Dashware.
