Retrofitting e92 LCI LED tail lights question...

So I installed them myself & quadrupled checked everything. I had it programmed last week thru Autologic hardware for the FRM2 module & just realized yesterday all 4 lights are on during the day time.

Is it suppose to be on during the day time? I don't recall the pre-LCI tail lights doing this. When the Sun's out, I'll check if they illuminate brighter if I turn on the head lights. Thanks!

If you have your AE(daytime running lights) on your tail lights are also on. You may turn it off on the Idrive though.

Oh, that makes sense. Wish there was a way to turn it off yet leave the AE's on. Thanks guys!

No, it was only on with the parking/head lights from what I remember.

That's weird! I have the pre LCI tails also and they're on all the time

I stand corrected...Just asked a buddy of mine & he says they were always on even with the pre-LCI lights.

All good! You probably just never noticed they're on till you did your new mod.

Ya, never really looked at the tail lights with the engine on until after installing these.
