Opinions Needed VRS Lip
Hey guys. So I'm going to pick me up a Vorsteiner VRS lip for my e92 M3. I'm planning on getting a rep and I'm not wanting to start a rep vs original discussion here. I'm just trying to get opinions and anyone's actual experience with either of these venders products. Anyways I've narrowed it down between these two.
http://www.jbspeed.com/servlet/the-1...tyle-CF/Detail http://www.jl-motoring.com/BMW_E92_E...p/bmfs9256.htm Both are 1x1 weave and have clear coat. After going through the checkout process to get shipping and everything the JBspeed is $440. Looks like there is no shipping charge with them. The JL-Motoring one comes in at $572.28. Quite a bit more so I'm trying to decide is the fitment and quality any different and if so is it worth the price. I don't mind spending the extra money if it's worth it but that's about my limit on a "disposable" part. What to do.... Thanks for any help guys. |

I have the VRS style lip on my car. Fitment is pretty solid as long as you take your time with the double sided tape. I don't think you can go wrong with jbspeed based on the fact that their is an entire thread praising this vendor on e90post.com...

My lip is fully cracked. I was thinking of something less protrusive
This may be an option

I understand the quality will be better but there is no way I'm paying $1000 more for something that will get messed up within a couple of years. From what I've seen the reps look very very good. I just ordered a GTS-V diffuser off of ebay and have heard only good things about it.

I did instal it but haven't gotten any good close up pictures yet. The fitment was what I expected for the price. I had to use screws to secure it to the bottom of the bumper as the whole piece bowed out. What I mean is if you held the middle flush with the front bottom of the bumper both sides stuck out a few inches. More than 3m tape would be able to deal with although I did also use tape. It's ok though because you can't really see the screws anyways. Quality was surprisingly good though. All in all it was worth the money and the shipping from JBSpeed was very fast. Ill try to post up some pictures soon. Now as for the diffuser well that's a whole different story...
